On my solitary way, I begin to walk…

On me, loneliness starts to mock...

I close my eyes and peep into my past…

Lovely memories run in my head so fast…

In the valley of my past, many people were there…

In the desert of my present, I am with no one here…

Tears roll down and down…

With despair, I frown and frown…

I am faltering every day...

I am withering away…

I ask the Almighty:

What have I done wrong?

Tell me I'll suffer for how long..

I plead with Him:

Please save me from the doom…

Please, somehow, end the gloom…

All of a sudden, I hear my inner voice…

It asks me to smile and rejoice…
Life is hard but must you fight…

One day, your days will be bright…

On these empty roads, there is no one with whom you can talk…

But, with your inner strength, you must continue your walk…

With faith and hope, fill your gloomy days…

Soon, your life will shine with dazzling rays…

Move ahead with zeal and don't feel alone…

Do remember that you're a companion of your own…
